Raffles & Company, Inc., is a world-renowned distributor of houseware brands such as PYREX, VISIONS, CORNINGWARE, CORELLE, EKCO and SNAPWARE, was incorporated in 1984. For more than 20 years, Raffles & Company, Inc. and its sales force have been helping to meet the lifestyle needs of modern homes by offering elegant, versatile and durable products from the world’s leading houseware brands.
Raffles started its operation with the Traditional Sales Division selling its flagship product, the Pyrex Storage Set to the department stores. In June 1987 in response to the changing market, Raffles inaugurated its Direct Sales Division. Soon after, Raffles acquired another World Kitchen brand, Visions. Business was growing and branches in major cities such as Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Iloilo were opened.
In 1991, another direct sales company was created primarily to market Corningware and Corelle. The two divisions operated independently until management saw the opportunity for synergy and decided to merge the two direct sales divisions thus creating a stronger and more formidable industry player.
Today, the company continues to foster a strong relationship with World Kitchen, formerly known as Corning Incorporated. New product lines are constantly being developed to serve the changing needs and lifestyles of the consumers.
