Ingredients:

  • 1 Kilogram of milk chocolate block
  • 250 ml of VCO ( Virgin Coconut Oil )

Utensils:

  • Double boiler
  • Spatula
  • Mould for the chocolates
  • Stove

Procedure

  1. Slice the large chocolate bar to pieces in order to fit into the boiler.  But if you could purchase chocolates that are already in small pieces there is no need.
  2. Melt the chocolate in the double boiler until all the chocolates are dissolved.
  3. Stir constantly with a spatula.
  4. Then pour the VCO and mix with a spatula.
  5. Stir until it becomes smooth in consistency and the chocolate and oil has blended very well.
  6. Get the mold and pour the chocolate until each of the mold cavity have been filled.
  7. Cool until it is ready to chill in the refrigerator.
  8. After the chocolates has hardened, remove from the mold and wrap individually with gold foil wrapper or cup shaped wax paper.
  9. Now you can sell them or give them as gifts.

Note: There are varieties of chocolate blocks you can use:

  • Bitter sweet chocolate – has liquior and only adults will appreciate.
  • Milk chocolate – For kids or to those mentally retarded adults ( just kidding), has no liquor
  • White chocolate – has no liquor and mainly used for decor
  • Baker’s or Compound chocolate – the cheapest and readily available. Excellent for tropical countries or for hot weather areas.
